Browse the three topic groups below – booking and the course of the examination, EMG and diagnostics, and treatment including infusion packages. We will gladly explain anything else when you book on +421 948 687 667.
Examination and booking
No. We are a private neurology practice, you book directly by phone without any recommendation.
Just call +421 948 687 667. You will usually get an appointment for the initial examination within a few days, not in several months.
Our neurology practice is located in Bratislava at Bernolákova 9, in the STEIN II building.
The initial examination takes 30 minutes. The doctor goes through your complaints and medical history thoroughly, performs a complete neurological examination and suggests the next steps – for example an EMG, infusion therapy or a follow-up.
The practice’s medical guarantor is MUDr. Michal Kozmon, a board-certified neurologist specializing in EMG examinations. The team also includes neurologist MUDr. Dominika Olšavská Koteková.
EMG and diagnostics
Electromyography (EMG) measures the conduction of electrical signals through the nerves and the function of the muscles. It helps confirm, for example, carpal tunnel syndrome, polyneuropathy or nerve root compression in sciatica.
During nerve conduction measurement you feel gentle electrical impulses; a thin needle electrode is used for the muscle examination. Most patients describe only mild discomfort, not pain.
No special preparation is needed. On the day of the examination, just do not apply cream to your hands or feet, so that the electrodes adhere well to the skin.
Immediately. The doctor evaluates the examination on the spot and you leave with a medical report and a treatment proposal.
Yes, we perform ultrasound examination of the brain and neck vessels (carotid ultrasound) right in our practice in Bratislava. We will confirm the appointment when you book by phone.
Yes, the EMG examination is the basic method for confirming carpal tunnel. We do not perform the surgery itself – it is done by orthopedics – but after the diagnosis we direct you precisely and recommend the next steps.
Treatment and infusions
Neodolpasse is an anti-inflammatory infusion used for vertebrogenic problems, i.e. back pain. It is given individually or as infusion packages.
Yes. We offer an infusion for an acute back spasm and a local injection, which quickly relieve the pain. We try to provide an appointment as soon as possible.
Sudden paralysis of the face or a limb and a speech problem can be signs of a stroke. In a stroke, minutes matter – seek medical help immediately and do not wait for an appointment at the practice.
Yes, we can issue an e-prescription for our patients. The doctor decides whether a prescription without an examination is appropriate based on your medical records.
